Nirapod respects users' privacy and provides users with the ability to request deletion of their personal data and account information.

This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can request account deletion, what information is deleted, what information may be retained, and how long the deletion process may take.

Requesting Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion at any time through:

• Settings → Account → Delete Account (inside the Nirapod app)
• Email request to our Privacy Team

Information Deleted

Upon successful account deletion, Nirapod will permanently delete or anonymize the following information:

• User profile information
• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Profile image
• Authentication credentials
• Push notification tokens
• User preferences
• Device associations linked to the account

User Generated Content

The following content may be deleted or anonymized:

• Community posts
• Comments
• Reactions
• User profile references

In some cases, content may remain visible but will no longer be associated with the deleted account and may appear as:

• Deleted User
• Anonymous User

Incident Reports

Because Nirapod is a public safety platform, certain incident reports may be retained after account deletion if they serve legitimate public safety, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or community protection purposes.

In such cases:

• Personal identifiers will be removed where possible.
• Reports may remain available as anonymized public safety records.

Information That May Be Retained

Nirapod may retain limited information when necessary for:

• Legal obligations
• Fraud prevention
• Security investigations
• Abuse prevention
• Compliance with applicable laws
• Enforcement of platform policies

Processing Time

Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days from the date the request is received.

Some information may be removed sooner. Backup systems may require additional time before deleted information is fully removed.

Revoking Access

Once account deletion is completed:

• User access will be permanently disabled.
• Login credentials will no longer function.
• Deleted accounts cannot be recovered.

Third-Party Services

Nirapod uses third-party infrastructure providers such as Firebase.

While deletion requests are processed by Nirapod, some data may remain temporarily in backup or recovery systems maintained by these providers in accordance with their retention policies.

Children's Data

If Nirapod becomes aware that personal information belonging to a child has been collected in violation of applicable laws, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information promptly.
