This Privacy Policy explains how Anonymous Chat: Stranger Connect (the "App") handles information. The App is built and maintained by AlphaCue Technologies ("we", "us"), and its privacy information is hosted by our sister company, RX Alpha Tech. The short version
- You don't need an email address, a phone number or your real name. You use the App under a nickname.
- We don't track your location, and we don't build a profile of who you are outside the App.
- Chats are deleted from our servers once both people have left the conversation.
- Images sent in a chat are automatically checked for harmful content before they are delivered.
- The App is for adults only (18+).
- We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Information the App uses
Anonymous sign-in
When you open the App, it creates an anonymous account identifier so it can connect you to chats and remember your settings. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address or phone number.
Nickname and interests
You choose a nickname and, if you like, interests or topics you want to talk about. These are used to match you with another person and are shown to the people you chat with.
Age check
Before you can chat, the App asks for your date of birth to confirm that you are 18 or older. It is used only for this age check.
Messages and images
Messages and images you send are transmitted through our servers so they can be delivered to the other person in real time, together with typing indicators and read receipts. Chat history is deleted from our servers once both people have left the conversation.
Every image sent in a chat is automatically scanned using automated content-moderation technology before it is delivered. Images that are flagged are not delivered.
Reports and blocks
If you report a message or a chat, the reported content and the anonymous identifiers involved are sent to our moderation team so we can review it and take action. Reports involving child safety go to a dedicated, top-priority review queue. If you block someone, we keep a record of the block so you are never matched with that person again. Moderation actions are recorded in an internal audit log.
Technical information
Like most apps, the App and the services it runs on process basic technical information needed to operate securely, such as your device's network connection data, the App version and error information.
What we don't collect
- Your real name, email address or phone number.
- Your location.
- Your contacts, photos library or other files (except images you choose to send in a chat).
- Voice or video — the App has no voice or video chat.
How we use information
We use the information above only to:
- match you with other users and deliver your messages;
- enforce the 18+ age requirement;
- keep the App safe — scanning images, reviewing reports, enforcing blocks and removing people who break the rules;
- keep the App working, secure and free of bugs.
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it to build a profile of you outside the App.
Service providers
The App runs on Google Firebase (Google LLC), which provides anonymous sign-in, real-time messaging and data storage on our behalf. Service providers process information only to provide their services to us and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety — for example, to report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
How long we keep information
- Chat messages and images: deleted from our servers once both people have left the conversation.
- Reports: kept only as long as needed to review them and act on them, or longer where the law requires it.
- Blocks and your account identifier: kept while you use the App, and deleted when you ask us to delete your data.
Security
All data is encrypted in transit. Access to moderation tools is limited to authorised team members.
Children
The App is strictly for users aged 18 and over and is not intended for minors. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are removed immediately, together with their data.
Your choices and rights
- You can leave any chat at any time, which starts the deletion of that conversation from our servers.
- You can block and report anyone from any message or chat.
- You can ask us to delete your data, or ask what information we hold about you, by emailing alphacuetechnologies@gmail.com with the nickname you use in the App. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above, and we will tell you in the App where the change is significant.
